Brainwaves is eclectic alternative radio – two hours of music every week spanning five decades of rock and roll. You’ll hear everything from the pop 70s all the way to the latest melodic indie, with a healthy dose of punk, progressive, new wave and grunge thrown into the mix. Your host, Brian Blum, broadcasts from Jerusalem, Israel, so you’ll hear some cool Israeli rock as well.
Brian started his radio career programming a new wave show on college station WOBC in 1983. Brainwaves, then and now, always aimed to play a truly engaging mix, including indie, pop, rock and more, from 70s progressive to the best of today’s melodic indie. And since it’s broadcast from Jerusalem, you’ll hear a healthy dose of Israeli rock to boot (in English and Hebrew)
