Tony Lloyd

I’ve had a passionate interest in broadcast radio since I was a young teenager.

A successful club and event DJ, I trained at industrial radio station UBN and entered broadcast radio in the late 70’s as a radio presenter for several radio stations including Ward Radio in London where I was appointed Chairman in 1979. I was responsible managerially and editorially for all on-air programming together with overseeing sound engineering, fundraising & training.

I then went on to become a presenter at Chiltern Radio with my ‘Tony Lloyd Late Show’, featuring the popular ‘Midnight Magic’ romantic half hour.
