All over the globe every week. great new music is released, and you never hear it. It could be Afro-Caribbean music from Brazil, tarantella from Southern Italy, sevdah from the Balkans, or rap mixed with flamenco from Spain
There is new electronic and experimental music from South Africa and indigenous rock from Australia and Canada.
To say nothing of Americana, Scandinavian fiddles, even Tuvan throat singing!
But now here on Life Right Radio we have the weekly two-hour global music show Around the World with Davy Sims, and you can hear it on Wednesday evening at 7.00

Davy Sims
Davy is an award willing broadcaster with more than 40 years’ experience. He is a member of the World Music Charts Europe panel and considered to be among the most influential broadcasters in World Music. But he is always open to suggestions for new music to listen to. He says “I’m not an expert, I’m an explorer. I want to be both a guide to what’s new in music from around the world, but I also welcome people sharing their favourite music with me.”
